Hate Is A Cancer

"Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man's sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true."
-MartinLuther King Jr.
US black civil rights leader & clergyman (1929 - 1968)
From the Speech Strength To Love, 1963.

  • My Opinion- Today, on Presidents Day I think of Martin Luther King Jr., A man who did more for me than any President of The united States.Hate allows for the human psyche to justify evil action. I feel that hate not money is the root of all evil and until the human race comes to term with that there will be NO peace and the oppressed with never truly be free.

I agree with what Dr.Martin Luther King said. Hate can in fact force one to change people's perception on ordinary things as forcing them to look at evil as good to support their judgement. Also just like a cancer, hate can spread and flood others' minds around you
